Here we explain, in plain words, which data we use when you visit this site and when you join the newsletter.

Who handles your data

The data controller is Agere Lab di Nicola Cioffi, Via Vincenzo Gioberti 26, 81030 Orta di Atella (CE), Italia, VAT number IT04845660614. For any question about your data, write to ciao@amoreitalianschool.com.

Which data we use

• Your email address, if you type it in the sign-up form. We also record when and from which page you signed up and the language you are using (Italian or English), so we write to you in the right one.
• The content of the messages you send us, if you write to us.
• Technical visit data (for example IP address, browser type, requested page). The service that hosts the site handles it to make the site work and keep it safe.

We do not ask for your name, phone number or anything else. We do not use analytics tools or advertising.

What we use it for, and why we may

• Your email is used to send you the free guide you ask for, the newsletter with Italian tips, and news from the school. We may do this because you gave your consent by ticking the box in the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
• The messages you write to us are used to answer you.
• Technical data is used to run the site and keep it secure: this is our legitimate interest.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for anything else.

Who receives it and where it goes

• Kit, Inc. (United States) manages the newsletter list and sends the emails for us. For transfers of data to the United States it states that it takes part in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
• Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) hosts the site and forwards the mail sent to ciao@amoreitalianschool.com. For transfers to the United States it applies the EU standard contractual clauses and states that it takes part in the Data Privacy Framework.

No one else receives your data, unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Your email stays on the list for as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of an email, we stop writing to you. If you ask us to delete your data, we remove your address from the list. Messages you send us are kept only for as long as needed to answer you and follow up on your request. Technical visit data stays with Cloudflare for the time it decides.

Cookies

This site does not use profiling or analytics cookies. Only technical tools needed for the page to work and stay secure may appear, and they are not used to follow you.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you your data, correct it, delete it, limit its use or give it to you in a readable format. You can object to its use and withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before. Write tociao@amoreitalianschool.com. If you think your data is not handled properly, you can contact the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Children

This site is meant for adults. In Italy, under the age of 14 the consent to online data processing must be given by whoever holds parental responsibility: if you are under 14, ask a parent first.

Changes

If we change something important, we update this page and the date at the top.
